One man and his forest.
Since 1979, Majuli Islander Jadav Payeng has been planting trees to save his island. To date, he has single-handedly planted a forest larger than NYC’s Central Park. His forest has transformed what was once a barren wasteland into a lush oasis.
This award winning documentary takes the viewers on a journey into Payengs incredible forest project – an inspirational story, directed by William Douglas McMaster.
